UDS ("we," "us," or "our") operates ActiveAccounting Cloud (the "App"). The App is provided exclusively to employees and authorized users of UDS customer companies, each connecting to their own company's private portal — it is not available for public or self-service download and use. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide:

• Contact information: names, email addresses, and phone numbers you enter for your customers, vendors, or business contacts within the App.
• Account information: your name, email address, and login credentials. Accounts are provisioned by your employer as part of their UDS ActiveAccounting Cloud subscription (via a company-specific portal, e.g., https://yourcompany.activeapplications.com) — the App does not support public or self-service sign-up. The same credentials are used for both the App and your company's web portal.

Information collected automatically:

• Location data: Approximate location only while the App is in use, for Work Order Tracking. You can disable location access at any time in your device's Settings.
• Device and usage analytics: device type, operating system version, app version, crash logs, and general usage patterns (e.g., which features are used and how often), collected to help us maintain and improve the App.

Information we do not collect: We do not collect payment card numbers, bank account credentials, or government ID numbers through the App. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs — all data described above is collected and processed by our own systems.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected to:

• Provide, operate, and maintain the App's core accounting features
• Associate contact and business records with your account
• Improve app performance, diagnose crashes, and fix bugs
• Provide location-relevant features (see Section 1)
• Communicate with you about your account, support requests, and service updates
• Comply with legal obligations

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your data with third-party advertisers or analytics networks. Your data may be disclosed only:

• To comply with a valid legal request (subpoena, court order, etc.)
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of UDS, our users, or the public
• With your explicit consent

4. Data Storage and Security

Data collected through the App is stored on servers operated by Cogent Corporation, located in San Diego, CA. We use industry-standard safeguards (e.g., encryption in transit, access controls) to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and business data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App's services. You may request deletion of your data as described in Section 7.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the applicable age of digital consent in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Withdraw consent for location data collection (via device Settings)
• Export your data

8. Location Data — Additional Detail

If the App requests location access, this is used solely for Work Order Tracking. Location data is stored on our servers but is not linked to your account. You can revoke location permission at any time via iOS Settings > Privacy > Location Services.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this page, and we'll notify users through the App or by email where appropriate.
